When using a hydraulic ripper, standard operation and scientific construction are required. During operation, accurately find the stress point and strike at a constant speed, avoiding idle striking, inclined striking and continuous impact for a long time. Meanwhile, conduct pre-operation inspection and daily maintenance to improve work efficiency, extend service life and ensure construction safety.

Operation Skills of Hydraulic Ripper
1. As the hydraulic ripper features high working frequency and strong vibration, it is recommended to support the machine with the chisel tip during use. This can increase the striking force by relying on the machine’s weight and reduce the vibration felt by the operator.
2. Slowly retract the arm during operation. The breaking efficiency can be improved by combining the downward striking force of the breaker and the retracting force of the arm.
3. Keep the chisel tip vertically downward or slightly hooked backward during operation to enhance the wedging force into rocks.
4. Try to break along the edge of rocks instead of the center of large-area rocks during breaking operations.
5. An overly short chisel tip will reduce the striking efficiency.
Precautions
1. Do not strike continuously for more than 30 seconds to prevent overheating of the gearbox. Switch to another position if encountering extremely hard rocks.
2. Keep the idler wheel forward and the travel motor backward during breaking. Sudden landing of the track due to idle striking may damage the travel motor. Avoid side-breaking operations to ensure machine stability.
3. Wait for about 3 seconds until the gears in the gearbox stop rotating after each strike before lifting the breaker for the next operation. Driven by the eccentric wheel, the gears will keep rotating for about 3 seconds after releasing the pedal. Idle striking is strictly prohibited.
4. Due to strong vibration, tighten all bolts of the breaker daily, including housing bolts, control valve bolts, motor mounting bolts and pipeline bolts. Inspect the breaker body and arm for weld cracks every day.
5. Maintenance and inspection: Nitrogen charging pressure is 5MPa, overcharging is forbidden. Gear oil capacity: 1.5L for Model 30 breaker, 1.8L for Model 40 breaker. Replace gear oil every 6 months or 500 working hours. Replace hydraulic oil every 2500 working hours. Working pressure is 25MPa.
6. Do not adjust any bolts on the control valve of the breaker. Contact local after-sales service in case of weak striking or other malfunctions.
