1、 Inspection of screw conveyor before startup:
1. Check the remaining materials and sundries in the machine slot and remove them immediately.
2. Whether the inlet and outlet are unblocked. If there is blockage, it must be cleaned up.
3. Whether the tightness of the transmission chain and the meshing clearance of the gear are adjusted properly. If not, it should be adjusted well.
4. Check whether the connecting bolts and anchor bolts of the box are loose. If they are not tightened tightly, they must be tightened.
2、 The screw conveyor can be started only when there are no materials and sundries in the casing.
1. After starting the motor, observe the current. If it is found to be normal, feed to the screw conveyor.
2. In order to prevent metal sundries from entering the pipe body of the screw conveyor, the feeding mouth of the screw conveyor shall be equipped with a screen. Before starting the machine, the box of the screw conveyor must be covered and cannot be removed when the machine is running, so as to ensure personal safety and prevent the flying of dust.
3. During feeding, the feeding speed should be gradually increased to reach the rated conveying capacity. The feeding must be uniform and maintain a certain filling quantity, and intermittent feeding should be avoided as far as possible. Otherwise, it is easy to cause the blockage of conveying materials and the overload of driving device, which will reduce the service life of the conveyor.
4. Stop feeding before stopping the screw conveyor, and stop the machine only after the materials in the casing are completely unloaded. There shall be no large and hard materials in the input materials to avoid the damage of screw conveyor caused by screw jamming.
5. The connecting parts of each part of the screw conveyor shall be free of dust and air leakage, and its tightness shall be maintained.
6. All parts of screw conveyor shall be lubricated frequently. Keep the lubrication normal.
Regular inspection and maintenance can prolong the service life of screw conveyor!
